Project Objectives
BIM model design system of railway (FSDI-BIM) use IFC can realize the 3D visual human-computer interaction design based on line, ground model and geology. The system includes the parametric, automatic and efficient creation of railway BIM model, as well as the definition, addition and modification of property information of components and automatic generation of construction drawings of railway and engineering quantity via BIM model. And the BIM+ construction management platform is closely integrated with the existing construction management model. According to the actual management needs of the construction site, it provides powerful and rich management business functions .

Detailed description of the project
The research examines the building information modeling (BIM) technology in the working drawings of the intercity railway.
BIM covers R&D of integrated management platform and 20 professional fields, including surveying and mapping, line, station and yard, subgrade, bridge, tunnel, geology, track, housing building, heating and ventilation, communication, signaling, telecommunication, disaster prevention, OCS, electric power, environmental protection, substation, locomotive depot and EMU.
System framework: The top layer design is the "FSDI-BIM Design Series Software" independently developed by the First Institute of Railway, and uses IFC standards to open up multiple professional design links.

Moreover, the speed and accuracy of collision inspection are close to the international level. It can also realize the efficient communication and exchange between the project team members through the Internet for review and annotation. Fsdi-bim Series Design Software 4.0 can run smoothly on most desktop computers and laptops, greatly reducing the threshold of BIM application and promotion.

IFC Standard expresses various kinds of information through a hierarchical and modular framework, which can be divided into resource layer, framework layer, sharing layer and domain layer from bottom to top. Each of these layers contains many modules. Each level can only refer to the information resources of the same level or below, but not to the resources of higher level. By stipulating this information reference rule, the lower level resources are not affected by the changes of upper level resources, so as to ensure the stability of information.
Ifcxml is published as an XML schema definition (XSD) derived from the IFC express model. Ifcxml includes ex.xsd And ifc2x2 FINAL.xsd : ex.xsd General schema of all translated express models, including data source and definition of general data type after translating express data type; ifc2x2 FINAL.xsd Refers to the ifc2x2 specific serialization unit and contains all the XSD definitions of IFC specific classes, relationships, properties, and data types. The property set definition (PSD) schema provides an extensible markup language (XML) schema definition for defining information such as applicable IFC entities or types, as well as properties and attribute sets outside the IFC specification. In addition, a mapping is defined to transform the content of IFC defined attributes into other applications.

(1) Strengthen IFC's support for infrastructure. The lack of support for the infrastructure section limits its further application. Therefore, IFC is extended in the actual application process.
(2) Continuously develop and upgrade software supporting IFC standards. With the constant upgrade of IFC Standard Version, develop and upgrade the software tools supporting the corresponding IFC standards, so as to better realize the functions of IFC. The software has the problem of data loss in the process of parsing IFC file. In the process of acquiring and transforming the standard, the information in IFC data model can not be fully analyzed, and part of the data will be lost. The extra data input increases the difficulty of its application. With the increase of model complexity, data processing becomes more difficult, which hinders the large-scale data exchange.
(3) Research and develop the integration method of openbim and other emerging information technologies. To achieve better integration of openbim with GIS, IOT, laser scanning and other emerging information technologies, and better serve the engineering. Gradually meet the requirements of multi-scale, real-time, fine and other aspects of the actual project.
